Social Circle

Social Circle is a historic community located about 50 miles east of Atlanta in Walton County.  The population is approximately 5000.

The origin of the small rural town’s name is unknown, but may be related to its being at the junction of two major Indian roads.

Social Circle is home to the famous Blue Willow Inn, serving a Southern buffet feast to locals and tourists from throughout the U.S.  No one leaves hungry after dining at the Blue Willow on its variety of home-cooked Southern favorites, including fried chicken, corn bread and fried green tomatoes.

Incorporated in 1904, Social Circle calls itself “Georgia’s Greatest Little Town,” and prides itself  on maintaining its small town atmosphere and preserving its resident’s quality of life.
